The Herbels’ Story
Brian and Carmen Herbel have been a part of ACA for 16 years. During that time, they’ve watched ACA grow while remaining steadfast in biblical principles, never wavering to conform to worldly trends. They have been praying for an organization that they could make a larger donation to, and they were excited to see ACA’s plan for facility expansion. When ACA announced they were ready to execute, they were eager to contribute.
“We love that the school reflects the body of Christ, with a diverse student body and staff representing many different churches,” said Brian and Carmen. “The administration is thoughtful and receptive, listening to families to ensure the best outcomes, and we cherish the tight-knit community ACA has provided.”
Their four children, Avah (‘24), Lucas (‘26), Linley (‘29) and Emery (‘32) have all benefited from ACA’s Christ-centered education, and with this gift, ACA will continue to provide that - and more.
“We hope this gift helps ACA create a space that better supports the teachers and staff as they strive to provide top-tier, gospel-centered education,” said the Herbels. “We pray this expansion strengthens ACA’s presence in Ankeny and allows the school to serve more families.”
