The Vanderploegs’ Story
For Eric and Kayla Vanderploeg, they wanted a Christ-centered education for their two boys - Clayton (‘29) and Gage (‘32) after previously being at a public school. They wanted an environment where their faith would be nurtured daily and where biblical truth would be woven into every part of their learning experience. What they found at ACA was just that and so much more.
“From the very beginning, it has been a safe and loving place for our family. The school faithfully teaches the Word of God and intentionally equips our children to be kingdom-minded while receiving a strong, quality education alongside like-minded families,” said the Vanderploegs. “The staff truly feels like family to us and in some cases, they actually are! We were welcomed with open arms, and that sense of belonging has meant more to us than we can say. We are so grateful to be part of the ACA community.”
Giving to the Forward in Faith 2.0 campaign came with no hesitation. In fact, they viewed it as a spiritual act of worship and an honor to support the campaign.
“Ankeny Christian Academy has blessed our family in countless ways, and we want to be part of blessing others in the same way. We are honored and grateful to support this fundraising campaign and invest in the future of this incredible community.”
