The Miltenbergers’ Story
When Josh and Jen Miltenberger gave to the Forward in Faith campaign, they weren’t just thinking about their kids - Kaylea (‘31), Andrew (‘33), and Amy (‘33). They were thinking about the next generations in their family and in Ankeny.
“We believe in the mission and vision of the school and want to be part of what God is doing to reach the next generation. We want to ensure that Christian education is available to future generations here in Ankeny,” said Josh and Jen. “The Forward in Faith campaign allows us to give in a way that not only impacts our children, but also children in the next generation, maybe even someday our grandchildren. As a Board member, Josh also has a desire to lead by example and put his money where his mouth is.”
Josh serves on both the ACA Board of Directors and the ACA Foundation Board. They love the small school environment and the heart of the teachers for our students. But most of all, they love ACA because Christ is at the center of everything that is done, from discussions in class to how discipline is handled to how our athletes engage others with the gospel, and they’re excited to see that move into the future.
“We hope that God will use our gift to the Forward in Faith campaign to expand the ability of ACA to meet its mission of Academic Excellence, Christ-Centered Education, and Authentic Relationships. The students going through the halls of ACA are the future of the Church, both here and globally,” said Josh and Jen. “What ACA does matters for eternity and we hope that God will multiply the gifts given through this campaign for His glory and our good! We desire for ACA to be a city on a hill here in Ankeny with a legacy of discipling followers of Jesus Christ.”
